7/26/2006 Thank you & sorry!!Thank you to everyone who has stopped by my space this week. I'm sorry I haven't returned the favor... I actually have been without internet access at home since the evening I posted my last entry... and it looks as though I'll be without for awhile.
I will plan to come to the library at least weekly while I'm un-plugged, and I will try to make it to everyone's space. In the meantime, I hope all is well & everyone is healthy & happy & enjoying summer
 I also feel that I do need to clarify, the poetry (as well as the conversation from the past) that I posted recently do not reflect who I am or how I feel now, I just stumbled across them while looking for some poetry to share. I find myself writing poetry when I feel down, as a way to deal with pain/frustration/anger/etc., etc., etc. when those emotions become overwhelming. I haven't written much lately...
Again, I hope all is well & you are having a wonderful week. Take care & God bless!!! 7/19/2006 Other featured spaces...My insomnia strikes again! I feel truly and utterly exhausted, but cannot sleep... so here I sit! As I hang out sleepless tonight, I realize that I have been a bit lazy about blogging so far this week (compared to my usual excessive blogging, anyway). I will hopefully be feeling more verbose tomorrow, so you will know I've not been invaded by body-snatchers!

I'm going make another attempt at sleep now  7/17/2006 "What's Your Story?"For those of you who find yourselves here by way of "What's Your Story?" - thank you very much for stopping by. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the email asking my permission to feature my blog. I have been blogging on MSN Spaces since March, and I have really enjoyed it thus far. The sense of community here has been just great, and I love "meeting" new people.
I am sorry, but I'm terribly boring tonight. The weather here is stormy and I think probably the power will be going out shortly, so I am headed to bed (wish me luck awakening in time to get to work, if the power does go out).

7/14/2006 Me and my life...Times are tough, I'm sure many people are feeling it... so I know I'm not alone with my struggles, but a time has come when my resources are more limited than usual as compared to my expenses.
July will probably be my last month with internet access at home. This will simply mean more trips to the public library (a good way to spend a lunch hour, right?) so that I can continue to blog - yes, I'm hooked...
This is a terribly boring topic, but I wanted to give my online friends a heads-up: when I seem to disappear, you'll know why!
Now, until then... today is too glorious a day to be inside, though I have much to do here... and besides, there are bills to pay & a paycheck to deposit & of course a warm lake in which to swim, so have a lovely day!

God bless  5/22/2006 No Internet for Awhile...I'm going to be without internet access for awhile... too much going on in my life & financially right now... but I'll probably be stopping by the library to check my email & my space once every week or two, so I'm not dropping off the face of the earth completely. Also, I hope to be back up & running soon, but until then - take care & God bless, all!! 4/15/2006 What'd I DO???Ah, sadly I realize what a fool I am to ever think I know anything. I have no idea what I did right, after messing with it for a few days, to be able to 1) view my photo albums (and others' albums) again, 2) add an entry to my blog, and 3) just generally DO ANYTHING to my space. I guess maybe I should think a little when I'm doing things, so I might remember if this ever happens again, but I am somewhat (VERY) disorganized and lack the general common sense needed to think that way... so if this ever happens again, I'll be in the same boat... My Goodness.
Okay, anyway. I am here. Will be adding some new photos, I think I'll do that now.

I'm not indecisive, just not as fond of starfish as my darling daughter is! 3/21/2006 Music... darn itI do not want to go to work today, I have so much other stuff to do. Oh well. Wouldn't have anything else to do, if it weren't for work, right? Anywho.
I am frustrated, trying to get music here - I just copied Celtic Thunder's "the light of other days" CD to my computer's shared file but cannot figure out how to share it here. Grrrr. I am not technologically advanced!!

I cannot wait until next year's Green Patrick Day. We are going to have so much fun.
3/12/2006 Live Journal competitionI am so tired tonight (um, this morning) but I am geeked because I just got hooked up to the internet a couple of days ago, and this is my first home computer (kinda pathetic but true), and here I find this is available... I've been doing online journaling for about four years or so but at Live Journal, which I'm sure I'll keep doing, but this is pretty cool and user friendly so I'm excited. Anywho. Time for this old lady to get to bed! |
